It's some typical samedi après-midi here in Manille and I find myself quite ennuyeux. So, I find myself rather amused by aesthetic proccupations... comme d'habitude. Then things take me to Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Lou Hayter's side project called Tommorow's Land and their video "Drive." In any case, cinéphilie and my armchair sense of nostalgia would always find me resonating greatly to things like this one and there's always that programmed style quotient of driving around in a Citroën DS and dressed up. Par ailleurs, this takes me back inevitably to my aesthetic obsession when I first saw Alain Delon as Jef Costello in Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Samouraï.
